Here are dates for the Community of Interbeing mindfulness days and retreats at the Barefoot Barn, Chagford:

Friday 25th- Sunday  27th September 2015  – Joyfully Together Weekend (incorporating a Day of Mindfulness on Sunday).

Day of Mindfulness

Exeter University, Amory Building room 417, 2.00 – 8.00 [arrive from 1.30], 31st October.

In what promises to be a not-to-be-missed event, students of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh will be visiting the Exeter university meditation society to offer a ‘day of mindfulness’.

‘Wake up’ defines itself as a group of ‘Young Buddhists and non-Buddhists for a healthy and compassionate society’, and emphasizes bringing mindfulness into every-day activities such as walking, talking to a friend, eating as well as sitting meditation and total body relaxation.

Learning to live mindfully is an important tool in learning to develop qualities such as peace, joy and compassion. This day of mindfulness will include a guided meditation, talk, walking meditation around the more beautiful spots on campus, a total body relaxation, a question and answer session with the monastics and a mindful meal together (please bring something to share).
